All steam ahead with the revision of the procurement Directives
A couple of weeks ago a little birdie told me the Commission wanted to get the ball rolling on the revision of the procurement legal framework within the first 100 days of its term. Well, looks like they want to hit the ground running with the evaluation of the current Directives to start before the end of 2024.
This process will determine if 'the rules are working as intended' which, as we know, are not. There will be a call for evidence and public consultation soon with the Commission adoption planned for the third quarter 2025. If the timescales are met I guess Denmark will get to be once more in the driving seat on the Council side of things.
